With preparation, anyone can get through their first video shoot with some words of encouragement and some quick easy tips.

  3. Have them look at you
  4. Empower them as "experts" of their role
  5. Have them simplify their language
  6. Have them repeat your question back into their response

  • The proper way of shooting b-roll on your phone. 
  • Crafty ways to turn your handy tripod into a monopod to shoot stable b-roll shots.
  • Ways to avoid zooming in and out of your shot, and alternative ways to show movements.
